Today marks 15 years since we first opened the Twisted D.I.R.T. Website on 8/1/1999. It started as 5 guys getting together to learn to make tracks for Motocross Madness 1. Games and members have come and gone, but we are still here with the same goals. Mx Vs Atv Reflex Custom Tracks DownloadThose who were around at that time remember the Game Zone and the tremendous amount of tracks being made for MCM 1 at it's peak. Motocross Madness 2 continued that tradition. We now have Reflex and the ability to make far better tracks. I look forward to seeing what people can do with Digital Earthworks.Bruce (DirtTwister). MX vs ATV Reflex PC multi-player is back online.Shortly before Nordic closed on purchasing THQ's assets the service hosting Reflex's Matchmaking went off line. There was no way to restore that function using the existing vendor. One of the first things Nordic did was to pursue a different solution for the PC version of Reflex. On Monday it was made available to everyone. To celebrate they have reduced the price of Reflex by 80% until. That means you can get the PC version of Reflex for an unbelievably low cost of $4.00.Bruce (DirtTwister). We are releasing a beta copy of the Reflex Track Compiler. This is a free ride only (no objects, no spline) version. We figured it would be good to get it out into the community so that everyone that wants to can start learning how to make tracks for Reflex. The compiler creates 8 different beta tracks and requires the Beta track DLC file to create the 8 slots. They show up in the Free Ride area like this:Some pictures of track made with the compiler:You can get more information in the forums. (Registrations are enabled). The thread with the compiler links and getting started info is. The compiler can also be gotten from links in the wiki.We have started a wiki, that is a work in progress and we will be updating with more information as we get it and as we have time. Feel free to contribute. You can e-mail me ([email protected]) if you want to add something to the wiki.It shouldn't be a big deal for people who are familiar with making tracks to get started. Over the next week I hope to have the wiki updated with some guidance on tools and more info for people with no experience at making tracks.Enjoy,Bruce (DirtTwister). We are still in the early stages of making tracks for Reflex. There is a lot of work to do and a lot of things to figure out. One of the experiments we've been doing is to put some disp maps in existing tracks. I put my Valley Ride into Lost Meadow and began experimenting with how Reflex applies Textures. It is done quite differently then in the past. The two videos below show some of what we are doing. In these I have marked up the textures in a way that I can try to make sure that we understand what is going on. I just wanted to post a little video of our progress on our way to the goal of making user made tracks for Reflex. One of the experiments needed was to add things via the DLC mechanism. We have a lot of details to work out, but one experiment was to put all the tracks in as Free Ride tracks. This is something that we will actually make available for download. We need to do some more testing and decide if there is anything else that we should include. Here is a small video showing my Free Ride list. ![]() Mx Vs Atv Reflex Mods Xbox 360![]() We should be able to release something like this next weekend. Ever since MX vs ATV Reflex has been released for the PC, we have been exploring it. I really like the terrain deformation and I would love to make tracks for it. Twisted D.I.R.T. Is doing what we can to try to make that happen. In the mean time I have been taking a closer look at the tracks that come with the game. Mx Vs Atv Reflex TracksI decided that I would post info on each track. Over the next several weeks I will be putting up a track map for each track, what I think about the track, a lap around the track from my view point, and riding tips from Scawn7. The first two tracks are Lost Meadow and Stone Point Round 1.While these tracks are old news to the console players, they are new to me and PC players.1/7/2010 - Sugar Ridge MX and Manchester Round 1 track maps, track info, and riding tips have been posted. Also all Track Maps for the 10 National and 10 SX tracks have been posted.1/14/2010 - Moto 448 and Fort Dodge Round 1 track info have been posted. Also all Track Maps for the 10 National and 10 SX tracks have been posted. The next two tracks will be Prairie Valley and Kingston Round 1.I will be doing two tracks each week a National and an SX.
